Kim Dotcom Posts Screenshots Of New Mega Website

Kim Dotcom, founder of Megaupload, recently tweeted about his new Mega website which is set to be relaunched on 19 January 2013, the one year anniversary of police raid on his mansion. The Mega Service will be hosted at the New Zealand based domain Mega.co.nz.

The Mega Service currently features an e-mail sign-up, which keeps the members updated with newsletters and the launch of the Mega service. Every User will be given their Cloud Drive on 19 January for downloading and uploading files.

The first screenshot shows that Mega will comprise of 2048-bit RSA encryption keys

The second screenshot shows a Sign-up page asking you to enter Name, E-mail address and a password to register for the service.


The third screenshot included the best part in the new service by Dotcom- which included Sorted Folders feature, Trash Bin, Inbox and a Contacts Menu in the left sidebar. So the new Inbox and Contacts suggest that you will be able to contact other users and keep updated with what others are doing.





The File transfers session shows the file name, size, transfer type, status with a progress bar and the percentage, speed, elapsed time and the remaining time.
